Southeastern Mexico City, Mexico

Based in the Nahua community of Milpa Alta (http://milpaalta.googlepages.com/home), located in the green mountains south-east of Mexico City. The group focuses on the preservation and revitalization of the Nahuatl language spoken in the town of Milpa Alta where this language is in danger of extinction.
The work being currently done here in the community aims to reinforce the language and culture through the arts, the use of medicinal plants and ancient ceremonies bound to disappear in the next few years.
